Working Bee

Come out and meet the animals while doing some jobs.  Please  be here by 9.30am so everyone can get an introduction at the same time  and ready to start by 10am. The event will go ahead in rain or shine.  

Please dress warm! Please bring gloves, your drink bottle and gumboots. If you have tools like a shovel and rake please bring. That would be super helpful.

Food for the animals is always welcome ( pig nuts, sheep nuts, chook pellets) 

We will have shared kai so please bring vegan food to share for morning tea  / lunch:)  

Unfortunately this isn't a suitable event for children under12.   

This is the job list we hope to get through with your wonderful assistance. No experience needed 

• cleaning chicken coops  
• replacing pig’s bedding
• cleaning troughs   
• pig massaging   
• poop scooping  
• sheep patting  
• cleaning out shelters
